This internet radio station began in 2009 as a local project, initially named DRAKKAR, before rebranding as Kamchatka Live in 2010. The station operates entirely without advertisements. Its programming expanded in 2011 to include rock music, and by 2012, rap was added to the musical offerings. The station has also featured live broadcasts from nightclubs, including transmissions of trance music from DJ Feel and sets from Radio Record residents Cosmo and Skorobogaty. In 2015, a ChillOut music direction was introduced, catering to listeners of relaxing and calm music. The station launched a mobile application for Android devices in 2020 and for iOS devices in 2022. Its broadcast reach has expanded over the years to include subscribers of various telecommunications providers.
