WCWM 90.9 FM

WCWM 90.9 FM is a student-run station tied to the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Its format includes indie, alternative, adult contemporary, and community radio, with programming in English. The station began operations in September 1959 and has historically drawn much of its talent and personnel from the William & Mary student body. WCWM was long licensed to serve the Virginia Peninsula and grew from an original 10-watt signal at 89.1 MHz to 90.9 FM. The station streams through its official website, and its own description says DJs include current students and faculty volunteers.
