A commercial FM radio station licensed to Bella Vista, Arkansas, broadcasting a classic hits format that emphasizes popular music from the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. The station's playlist spans a wide range of artists from those decades, including Journey, Elton John, Madonna, the Eagles, Michael Jackson, the Commodores, U2, and Ace of Base. Evening programming includes the nationally syndicated John Tesh "Intelligence for Your Life" program, and hourly news updates are provided by ABC News Radio. Studios and offices are located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, while the transmitter is situated off Y City Road in Decatur, Arkansas. The signal reaches portions of Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. The station first signed on in November 1991 under its original owner, Gayla Joy Hendren McKenzie, daughter of Republican politician Kim Hendren and sister of state senator Jim Hendren. The station broadcast political advertising during Kim Hendren's 2010 United States Senate campaign. McKenzie sold the station to Hog Radio in July 2017 for $1.15 million, at which point the branding shifted from "Variety 106.5" to "Lite 106.5" with an adult standards format, making it the only station in the Fayetteville market with that format as of 2021. Hog Radio subsequently sold the station, along with three sister stations and a translator, to John Lykins' Rox Radio Group, LLC in January 2021 for $3 million.
