Viên Thao Radio - KAZA

An AM radio station broadcasting at 1290 kHz serving the Vietnamese-American community in the San Jose area of California. The station is part of a broader Vietnamese-language media network founded by a poet and journalist who emigrated from Vietnam in the early 1980s. The network, known as Viên Thao Media, encompasses multiple radio stations across cities including San Jose, Orange County, Portland, Seattle, Dallas, and Atlanta, as well as a satellite television channel. Programming serves the Vietnamese diaspora with culturally relevant content in the Vietnamese language, reflecting more than four decades of continuous Vietnamese-language broadcasting in the United States.
