The station serves Ruston, Monroe, and surrounding areas in north-central Louisiana, with its transmitter located in unincorporated Jackson Parish and studios in downtown Ruston. In addition to country music, it has long served as the flagship station for Louisiana Tech Bulldogs athletics. The station also broadcast Ruston High School football from 1947 to 2023.
