An automated VHF FM weather radio transmitter operated as part of NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards, a nationwide network of stations in the United States broadcasting weather information continuously from nearby National Weather Service offices. Programming includes local and regional weather forecasts, climate summaries, zone and coastal waters forecasts, and hazardous weather outlooks. The network also disseminates non-weather emergency alerts including Amber alerts, civil emergency messages, and evacuation orders via the FCC Emergency Alert System. The station operates 24 hours a day without live personnel, using automated broadcast technology that allows regular content updates from the relevant National Weather Service office.
