Norwich University's student-operated FM station, broadcasting at 88.3 MHz with 270 watts from a tower atop Jackman Hall and serving the campus and greater Northfield, Vermont communities. Established in 1967, the station celebrated its 50th anniversary in December 2017. Licensed by the Federal Communications Commission as a noncommercial educational outlet, WNUB-FM operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing practical training for Communications students pursuing careers in radio broadcasting and audio production. Programming, maintained through a computer-based automation system, includes music, news, and information content, and the station is available on the FM dial, through smart speaker platforms, and via online streaming services.
