The Classical HD2 subchannel of WLRN-FM (91.3 FM), a non-commercial, listener-supported public radio service owned by Miami-Dade County Public Schools and serving South Florida and the Florida Keys. WLRN-FM, a Class C1 station licensed to Miami, operates alongside its companion station WKWM (91.5 FM) in Marathon. The primary 91.3 FM signal carries a news and information format during daytime hours, featuring NPR programs such as Morning Edition, All Things Considered, Fresh Air, and Marketplace, along with jazz programming in the evenings and BBC World Service overnight. Weekend programming includes nationally distributed public radio shows spanning culture, science, economics, and storytelling. The Classical HD2 subchannel provides a dedicated outlet for classical music, which was moved from the main signal's daytime schedule in January 2020 when WLRN transitioned to a full news and talk format during daytime hours. The classical programming on HD2 is simultaneously broadcast on WKDS 89.9 FM, owned by Kalamazoo Public Schools. The station's coverage extends through FM translators in South Florida and across the Florida Keys via repeater transmitters.
