An all-news radio station operating as a local affiliate of the Black Information Network (BIN), a news radio network and content brand owned by iHeartMedia. BIN was launched on June 30, 2020, initially across 15 iHeartMedia stations in markets with large African American populations. The network was created to deliver national news coverage specifically tailored to African American communities, carrying headline stories, current events, and special interest features oriented toward that audience. Some affiliate stations incorporate local news, traffic, weather, and sports updates into the national feed. The network draws on other iHeartMedia services for localized content and promotes podcasts targeting its core audience. Newscasts are available at the top and bottom of each hour, making the service available to both owned stations and outside subscribers. Tony Coles serves as network president and Tanita Myers as news director.
