A non-commercial FM station operated by the University of Massachusetts at Lowell since its founding in 1952. The station is fully managed and operated by student members and broadcasts both terrestrially and online. Known as "Where Underground Music Lives," the station places special emphasis on promoting and celebrating local and up-and-coming artists from around the world. Programming features a diverse range of genres including indie rock, metal, punk, hip-hop, pop, blues, and folk, with weekly shows dedicated to new music discovery. The station operates The Fallout Shelter, a live-sound studio facility for performances by artists of various backgrounds and genres.
