Public radio station broadcasting eclectic music programming to northern suburbs of the greater metropolitan area. Features volunteer disc jockeys who share their personal album collections on air, with programming spanning diverse genres including blues, jazz, big band, doo-wop, country, gospel, soul, rhythm and blues, and polka. Originated as a 10-watt station at a high school in 1976 under different call letters, later relocated and expanded significantly in power and reach.
