The station is owned and operated by Peggy Sue Broadcasting Corporation and carries ABC Radio News at the top of every hour. Signature programming includes The Coffee Pot Show, a weekday morning program running from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Eastern, hosted by Rodney Davis, featuring classic country music and listener request segments. The station previously aired Paul Harvey's "News & Comment" each morning and midday, along with "The Rest of the Story" in the afternoons until Harvey's death. A live, interactive trading post segment airs weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., providing a forum for listeners to place free classified advertisements on air. On July 27, 2005, the station swapped frequencies with sister station WRIC; WMJD moved from 97.7 FM, where it had broadcast since going on the air, to its current frequency of 100.7 FM.
