94.1 The Lounge

94.1 The Lounge broadcasts on 94.1 FM from Ferndale CA in the United States and streams through its official website. Its Adult Contemporary format features classic American Songbook standards, music from the 1930s through the 1960s, and contemporary recordings with similar lyricism and musicality. The station launched in 2017 as a Humboldt County outlet built around music its site says is not often heard on radio. Its own description calls the format “syncopation and style” and emphasizes a cultivated connection between older standards and newer music with a classic feel.
