KXUA 88.3 FM

KXUA 88.3 FM is a student-run college radio station at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville AR, broadcasting on 88.3 FM and streaming through its official website. Its programming includes student-DJ music shows, talk shows, podcasts, and automation tracks selected by its music directors. Student radio at the university traces back to KUAF in 1973, followed by KRFA over cable and carrier current in 1989. KRZR formed in 1994 to pursue an FM station, later taking the KXUA callsign and 88.3 FM after a legal process over available frequencies. KXUA joined the Student Media Board in 1999 and signed on in 2000.
