A full-service formatted broadcast radio station licensed to Farmville, Virginia, serving Farmville and Prince Edward County. The station operates at 870 kHz AM and is owned and operated by Heart of Virginia Communications. WFLO first signed on in 1947, establishing itself as a community fixture over decades of local broadcasting. The station's history includes a period of ownership change beginning in January 2021, when Educational Media Foundation (EMF) agreed to acquire both WFLO and WFLO-FM from Colonial Broadcasting Company. Following that transaction, EMF converted the FM counterpart to the K-Love network format and divested the AM station to Heart of Virginia Communications. WFLO relaunched under its current branding on December 1, 2022. On-air staff includes John Staton III, a Buckingham County native who serves as a long-time host and program manager; Noah Messarge, who developed audio experience from an early age before joining the station; and Christine "Chris" Wood, a veteran broadcaster known for hosting Sunday Mornings with Chris and co-hosting the Call Flo Radio Show.
