A student-operated college radio station licensed to Fairbanks and broadcasting from the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus. Originally established in 1984 as one of the first commercially licensed college stations in the region, it was reorganized in 1993 to operate under non-commercial educational FCC licensing. Broadcasting with 3,000 watts of effective radiated power, the station serves the Alaska Interior area with educational, cultural, and entertainment programming. The station has received recognition through statewide and national broadcasting awards.
