WJPR 1640 AM

WJPR 1640 AM broadcasts from Edison NJ on 1640 AM and streams through its official website. The WJPR format combines talk, religious, community, and oldies programming, with the station describing itself as a hybrid format: Jewish programming during the day and oldies at night. Oldies begin at 9 PM Eastern Monday through Thursday and at 10 AM Eastern on Sunday, with specialty programming on Sunday midday, afternoon, and night. WJPR is off the air from Friday afternoon until Saturday night in observance of Shabbos, and also pauses broadcasting on Jewish holidays.
