A college radio station established in September 1980 at Chattanooga State Community College in Tennessee, originally broadcasting at 200 watts over the FM spectrum before transitioning to an exclusively web-based stream. The station began as a contemporary and Top 40 format airing five days a week and evolved over the decades into an alternative music outlet. It operates out of the Media Technology Center on the college's Amnicola Highway campus and has long served as a training ground for students pursuing careers in broadcasting. Current programming includes specialty shows such as the Saturday Morning Cereal Bowl Show, Sounds By The River, The Odd Box hosted by DJ Bones, and the Gather and Groove Show. The station streams continuously around the clock and maintains a global online audience, known for programming that supports emerging local artists and introduces new music to listeners.
