WBOR 91.1 FM

WBOR 91.1 FM is the student-run, noncommercial college radio station licensed to Bowdoin College in Brunswick ME. Broadcasting on 91.1 FM from Coles Tower on the Bowdoin campus, WBOR reaches the Mid Coast area and streams online through its official website. The station’s roots go back to Bowdoin radio activity in 1941, with its FM history beginning after the former WBOA registered as an FM station on 91.1 MHz in 1956 and became WBOR. DJs are predominantly full-time Bowdoin students, with faculty, staff, and community members also hosting weekly shows. Its college radio programming reflects the work of student and community DJs, and the station accepts music submissions for possible airplay.
