Midwest Radio

Midwest Radio is based in Ballyhaunis, County Mayo, Ireland, with studios on Clare Street. The station officially opened in 1989 after earlier unlicensed broadcasts, and its roots trace back to broadcasts begun by Paul Claffey in 1978. Its format includes news and talk alongside country music, classic hits, and some current chart music. Midwest Radio broadcasts 24 hours a day, with regular programming beginning at 7 a.m. most days and an overnight automated service that repeats The Tommy Marren Show and The Mid Morning Show before back-to-back music. The station also streams through its official website.
