This community radio station, established as Kerala's second campus community radio and the nation's 46th, has been broadcasting for 11 years. Its mission is to serve as a companion to the local populace, striving to be a friend in all their endeavors and improve their lifestyles. The station aims to bridge the knowledge divide and transform lives through socio-economic changes and the dissemination of knowledge. Programming includes the latest music selections across various styles, from melody to rock, alongside the latest regional and global news updates. The station also focuses on enriching talents by providing a platform for individuals to showcase their abilities. Notable programs include "Krishi Jaalakom," which aims to encourage youth engagement with farming and cultural heritage, and "Nattinpuram." The station has received national recognition, including an award in the Audio Challenge contest sponsored by the Union Ministry of Skill Development, NSDC, and Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia. It has also won the Haritha Mudra state award for its "Krishi Jaalakom" program and the Audio Media Feature award for its program "Nattinpuram."
