The station is powered by a team of volunteers, each selecting the music for their own programs, adhering to a "Tourist Radio" policy. During natural disasters, including Cyclones Anthony and Yasi in 2011 and Debbie in 2017, the station remained on air, providing listeners with critical, up-to-date information. The station's programming includes a variety of music genres, with volunteers choosing their preferred selections.
