A talk radio station serving central Mississippi, with studios located in the Cotton Exchange Plaza in Flora, Mississippi. The station broadcasts at 103.9 FM and reaches listeners across Madison, Yazoo, Rankin, and Hinds counties. Its origins trace to 1984, when the FCC's Table of Allotments created a vacant allotment for a 3,000-watt station on 93.7 FM intended to serve Yazoo City, originally planned as a companion to the now-silent WAZF 1230 AM. The allotment went unoccupied until 1995, when Mississippi College — holder of nearby WHJT 93.5 FM — petitioned the FCC to remove it in order to upgrade their own facilities. The FCC instead shifted the allotment to 93.1 FM as a compromise, and subsequently accepted an application from Gordon J. Lousteau Jr. of WMGO Broadcasting Corporation to build the new station. The station has since moved to its current frequency of 103.9 FM. Programming centers on local talk, politics, and community affairs, with a weekday lineup that includes local morning shows, commentary on Jackson-area issues, and the Blues and Arts Hour, a Friday program hosted by the station's news director covering Mississippi music and culture.
