Informazioni su KILJ 1130 AM - KILJ

A commercial AM radio station serving southeast Iowa, paired with sister station KILJ-FM 105.5, which broadcasts an easy listening format. The operation was founded in 1970 by Frosty Mitchell and former Iowa governor Robert D. Ray, and acquired by Paul and Joyce Dennison in 1977, who continue to own both properties. Programming blends music with national, state, and local news coverage, alongside high school and college sports play-by-play, weather updates, and agricultural market reports covering grain and livestock. The sports department provides play-by-play for numerous southeast Iowa prep programs, while a dedicated news team handles local and regional reporting. Community-focused content has remained central to the station's identity across its decades of operation.
