Carter sold to two employees, Gregory Buser and Robert Hilton, in 1985, and in 2021 Justin Fluke acquired KNZA Inc. along with five sister stations — KMZA 92.1 FM, KAIR 93.7 FM, KLZA 101.3 FM, and KTNC 107.1 FM/1230 AM. Current programming mixes contemporary country hits with classic country from the 1980s through 2000s.
