A Christian-format radio station owned by United Ministries and licensed to Grand Junction, Colorado, operating on 620 AM with translator coverage extending to 99.5 FM in Grand Junction, 91.9 FM in Montrose, 91.3 FM in the Paonia and Hotchkiss area, and KJYE AM 1400 in Delta. The station traces its origins to June 19, 1957, when it signed on as KSTR under Mountain States Broadcasting Company with 5,000 watts daytime-only on 620 kHz. Over the following decades the frequency changed hands and call letters numerous times — including KKTK, KKGM, KBZS, KKGJ, KRDY, and others — before settling on the KJOL call sign in April 2001. A brief period beginning in March 1999 saw the station affiliate with the Radio Disney children's network. Under current ownership, programming centers on Christian music, inspirational teaching content, and ministry broadcasts, with a children's block airing on Saturday mornings.
