The AM station's transmit history involved several frequency changes over the decades, moving from 1310 kHz to 1340 kHz in 1941, then to 1270 kHz in 1950, and finally to the clear-channel 1110 kHz frequency in 1951 following interference issues with a British Columbia broadcaster.
