The station has broadcast to the greater East Texas area for over 40 years and expanded its reach with a new 89.1 FM signal in Shreveport, Louisiana, in 2024. The station's programming includes commercial-free Christian music, faith-based podcasts, and a Prayer Center feature. It hosts and promotes Christian concert events and community outreach programming including the Encouragement Effect lifestyle series. The station previously extended its coverage via FM translators in Nacogdoches and Shreveport, though those translators have since been reassigned or sold.
