The station serves as the flagship outlet for the "WLUJ Family of Stations" network, which includes four full-power transmitters and five low-powered translators throughout the region. Related full-power stations include outlets at 96.7 MHz, 88.1 MHz, and 88.3 MHz serving neighboring communities. Programming consists of Christian talk and teaching alongside Christian music, featuring nationally recognized religious broadcasters including David Jeremiah, Adrian Rogers, J. Vernon McGee, Charles Stanley, and Chuck Swindoll. The station began broadcasting on March 17, 1987, initially at 97.7 MHz before relocating to its current frequency in 2001. A dedicated broadcast studio on campus supports student educational opportunities in media-related fields.
