The station operates independently from commercial incentives, with programming driven entirely by the musical preferences and editorial judgment of its student disc jockeys. As of its most recent operational description, the station maintains a team of more than 120 student DJs committed to eclectic and diverse music programming distinct from mainstream commercial radio formats.
