Since 2007, transmission originates from a tower on Pinnacle Hill in partnership with WXXI Public Broadcasting Council. The station is staffed primarily by university students who maintain creative control over evening programming during the academic year, while daytime programming features music-focused content including the flagship program "Open Tunings with Scott Regan." Student involvement extends to video production through the affiliated WRUR-TV station.
