Founded in 1991 by Paul Moore in Yakima, Washington, LifeTalk Radio is the only radio network owned by the North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, operating as a ministry of the Adventist Media Center. The network began broadcasting in March 1992 through its first station, KSOH in Yakima, which launched with an interactive Christian talk format. Over the following decades, the network expanded steadily: by 2000 it was heard on 15 stations, growing to 35 by 2004, 65 by 2005, and more than 100 stations by 2015. The network's headquarters has moved several times, from Yakima to Vonore, Tennessee in 2000, then to Collegedale, Tennessee in 2004, then to Simi Valley, California in 2011, and finally to its current base in Riverside, California. Leadership passed from founder Paul Moore, who retired in 2002, to Phil Follett, and then to Steven Gallimore, who became president in July 2004. Today the network is heard across more than 73 full-time and part-time domestic affiliates, as well as 122 international affiliates, and streams through platforms including Roku. Programming across the network spans Christian music, Christian talk, and religious teaching content.
