Owned by Good News Radio, a religious nonprofit organization, the station broadcasts a Christian adult contemporary format. Studios and offices are located on Orange Tree Lane in Redlands, and the transmitter is sited on Cloudland Truck Trail in San Bernardino. The station's signal is extended by two FM translators serving Banning and Palm Springs. The station signed on in January 1958 under the call letters KNFP, founded by three professors at La Sierra College (now La Sierra University) and Loma Linda University. It has operated as a Christian radio station throughout its history, carrying several call signs over the decades including KSDA, KLLU, and finally KSGN. Business offices and studios were housed on the campus of Loma Linda University from 1958 until 2005, when operations relocated to Redlands. Programming centers on Christian adult contemporary music, prayer resources, and community-focused content. The station incorporates listener prayer requests, a local events calendar, and community outreach initiatives. On-air content is complemented by an online presence offering the live stream and additional resources for listeners in the broader Inland Empire region.
