Sci-Fi Old Time Radio

An internet radio station devoted exclusively to science fiction programming from the classic and post-classic eras of radio broadcasting. The station draws its content primarily from recordings produced between approximately 1945 and the mid-1980s, a period that spans both the acknowledged Golden Age of Radio, generally considered to have concluded around 1962, and the subsequent decades during which broadcast networks made efforts to revive dramatic radio programming despite the dominance of television. The station takes a deliberate stance against fantasy content, focusing solely on science fiction, and includes notable series such as Alien Worlds, The Twilight Zone, and Star Trek along with its spin-off productions. The station's programming philosophy reflects a view that science fiction radio from this era remains underrepresented in contemporary media, and it aims to preserve and present this material for modern audiences through internet streaming on multiple radio platforms.
