Funkology Radio

An online radio station broadcasting commercially free across the internet via the Live365 platform. The format spans more than five decades of funk music, tracing the genre from its origins through contemporary expressions. Programming draws from old school funk, classic rhythm and blues, soul, and urban R&B, presenting a continuous mix curated by DJ Ernie Mitchell. The station operates without commercial interruptions, positioning itself as a dedicated destination for funk enthusiasts. As an internet-only broadcaster, it reaches a global audience through the Live365 streaming network, which hosts and distributes the signal. The playlist emphasis on vintage material alongside more recent funk recordings reflects a commitment to the genre's full historical arc rather than a narrowly defined era.
