TAVN-Jazz

An online jazz radio operation run by the Arts Validation Network (TAVN.org), a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting musicians, performers, and visual artists. The station broadcasts twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, featuring live on-air hosts who present jazz music alongside discussions of musician histories and the cultural context of the genre. Founded by Janine Santana, a conguera, stage actor, and radio host from a multigenerational performing arts background, TAVN also operates a companion free-form radio stream offering curated programming across multiple genres. The organization's broader mission encompasses community education, artist validation, and providing performance platforms for both recognized and emerging artists.
