This student-run radio station operates from a university campus, providing hands-on experience in broadcasting for its student body. Established in 1970, the station initially broadcast under a different call sign before adopting its current one in 1973, honoring the university's then-president. Student involvement is central to its operation, with individuals like Michael Trueswell, a senior History major, and Kyle, a senior Communication Arts major, contributing to its programming, including shows such as "The Dial" and "Thrashing Thursdays."
