A classic hits radio station licensed to St. Simons Island, Georgia, serving the Brunswick coastal market. The station's history stretches back to December 1989, when it signed on as WPFI. Over the following decades it cycled through several identities — WMOG-FM, WVVV, WHFX, WBGA, and WMOG — before settling on its current call sign in June 2016. The format shift to classic hits came in September 2014 under the WMOG banner, branded as "Big 92.7," when the station was operating under a divestiture trust following a multi-station acquisition by Clear Channel Communications, now iHeartMedia. In February 2016, iHeartMedia sold the station to local operator Golden Isles Broadcasting, LLC for $225,000. Upon completion of that sale, the call letters changed to WSSI and the outlet relaunched as "92.7 SSI," a reference to Sea Island, the barrier island community in Glynn County. The station briefly held a licensed community of license in Darien, Georgia, from March 2021 before returning to St. Simons Island in December 2022. Morning programming is anchored by a weekday show hosted by Pauly, running from 6 to 9 a.m.
