Radio Ninada 90.4 FM

This community radio station, operated under the Department of Journalism, functions as a sonic bridge connecting an educational institution with the coastal region of Karnataka. Its programming is rooted in the preservation of heritage and the discovery of local voices, broadcasting in local dialects and featuring folk artists and residents. The station aims to be a community forum, offering daily news and information alongside a curated archive of programs focused on the cultural nuances of the coast. This content serves as a digital record of traditions and actively engages the rural population with mainstream media. Broadcasting daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the station also serves as a creative laboratory for students. Under faculty mentorship, students produce original content that incorporates local talent.
