This community radio station, established in 1996 by the Association canadienne-française de l'Alberta, ceased operations in 2018 and returned to the airwaves in December 2019 under the direction of the newly formed Société CKRP Radio Rivière-La-Paix (SCRRLP). SCRRLP was formed in 2017 by individuals committed to the importance of French-language community radio in the region. The station broadcasts its culture and language with various accents throughout the region and beyond. Programming includes the cultural magazine "Accent Nord-Ouest," hosted and produced by Bernadette Levesque, with contributions from Apinya Roy and William Fournier. "En direct du Nord-Ouest" is hosted and produced by Simerjeet Sylvain, who also hosts the weekly show "The Holistic Wellness and Transformation Show." The station's team includes a general director, administrative assistant, principal technician/music director, journalist, and projects assistant.
