Canal Sur Radio (RTVA)

Canal Sur Radio is the public radio service of Andalusia, Spain, operated by Radio y Televisión de Andalucía (RTVA). Launched on November 11, 1988, it was the first service to begin broadcasting under the newly established RTVA, the autonomous community's public media corporation.
The radio division operates multiple channels including Canal Sur Radio (general programming), Canal Fiesta Radio (popular music and entertainment), Radio Andalucía Información (24-hour news), and Flamenco Radio (dedicated to flamenco music and culture). Together these channels serve the eight provinces of Andalusia with a mix of news, cultural programming, and music.
As part of RTVA, Canal Sur Radio is mandated to provide truthful, pluralistic information while promoting Andalusian cultural heritage, education, and social cohesion. The service is available over-the-air across Andalusia and through its digital platform CanalSur Más, which offers live streaming and on-demand content.
