A radio station broadcasting on 105.1 FM, licensed to Macon, Georgia. The Kiss brand originated in the United Kingdom, where Kiss FM began as a pirate radio station in October 1985, initially serving South London before expanding citywide. It was founded by Gordon McNamee, George Power, and Tosca Jackson, and developed a substantial following during its unlicensed years, with contemporary estimates placing its London listenership at approximately 500,000. The station earned recognition in an Evening Standard reader poll in 1987, ranking second only to Capital Radio. Kiss became the United Kingdom's first legal black and dance music specialist station in 1990 when it obtained a broadcast license, going on-air as Kiss 100 on 100.0 FM in London. It subsequently grew into a national digital radio network under Bauer Media Audio UK, broadcasting via DAB digital radio across the UK. Kiss transitioned to a fully digital-only format in 2024. As of October 2025, the UK network reached a weekly audience of approximately 1.283 million listeners according to RAJAR.
