La Mejor Atlanta

An Spanish-language radio station founded in 1988, making it the first Spanish-language station to broadcast in the Atlanta metropolitan area. The station focuses primarily on Mexican grupero, ranchera, and balada music, targeting the region's growing Latin American community. It was established by Samuel and Graciela Zamarron, originally from San Luis Potosí and Michoacán respectively, who identified a need for Spanish-language media and entertainment for Atlanta's expanding Latino population. The station has maintained continuous operation since its founding, positioning itself as the leading outlet for Mexican regional music in the southeastern United States.
