A country music radio station licensed to Crookston, Minnesota, serving the Grand Forks, North Dakota metropolitan area on 97.1 FM. The station began broadcasting in 1979 under the call sign KDWZ with a Top 40 (CHR) format. In 1981, with the arrival of a competing Top 40 outlet, the station transitioned to country music and adopted the KYCK call letters — pronounced "kick" — which it has maintained ever since. Owned by Leighton Broadcasting, KYCK competes primarily with iHeartMedia's KSNR "100 Country" in the regional market.
