A commercial news-talk radio station broadcasting at 102.7 FM, licensed to Midvale, Utah, and serving the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. The station simulcasts with its AM sibling on 1160 kHz, both operating a combined news-talk format. Both stations are owned by Bonneville International, a broadcasting subsidiary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and share studio facilities with co-owned television outlet KSL-TV at the Broadcast House building in the Triad Center in downtown Salt Lake City. KSL-FM is a Class C station with an effective radiated power of 25,000 watts, transmitting from a site on Farnsworth Peak in the Oquirrh Mountains near Erda, southwest of the city. The station broadcasts using HD Radio technology; its HD2 subchannel carries sports radio content rebroadcast from 1280 KZNS, while HD3 carries the Latter-day Saints Channel.
