A commercial AM radio station in Omaha, Nebraska, broadcasting a news and talk format. Owned by iHeartMedia, it operates as a Class A clear channel station at 50,000 watts — the maximum power permitted for commercial AM — from a transmitter in Papillion. A single tower carries the full daytime signal; at night, a three-tower directional array limits interference with WBT Charlotte, the other Class A station sharing 1110 kHz. The station's daytime reach covers much of eastern Nebraska and western Iowa, with at least a grade B signal extending to Kansas City, Topeka, Sioux City, and Des Moines. The station is licensed for HD Radio hybrid broadcasting. Weekday mornings feature a long-running local news program hosted by Gary Sadlemyer, who has been associated with the station for more than four decades. Local talk programming airs in late mornings and late afternoons with separate hosts.
