Fútbol de Primera is a Spanish-language radio network dedicated entirely to soccer coverage in the United States. Founded in August 1989 by Alejandro Gutman, the network pioneered the syndication of soccer programming across American radio, initially operating on AM and talk radio stations before successfully expanding to FM dial music-formatted stations. The network broadcasts the FIFA World Cup and has done so since the 2002 tournament, continuing through the 2022 edition. Its rights portfolio also includes Mexico's national team matches, the CONCACAF Gold Cup, and past editions of the Copa América. The flagship daily program, hosted by Andrés Cantor since the network's founding, covers developments in Mexican, Latin American, and European football with in-depth analysis. The show's regular personalities include Sammy Sadovnik, Jaime Gallardo, and Rosa Beatriz Sánchez. Cantor also serves as co-chairman of the network alongside Gutman. As the longest-running nationally syndicated Spanish-language radio program in the United States, the show is carried by approximately 115 affiliated stations across the country, with additional reach into Central and South America. Programming and live game broadcasts are also available through the network's official YouTube and Twitch channels, enabling a global audience. The network maintains its headquarters in Miami, with additional offices in New York City, San Francisco, and San Antonio.
