The 70’s Preservation Society

An internet radio operation dedicated exclusively to the popular music of the 1970s. The primary streaming channel, called 70's Classics, delivers music from across the decade in 128 kbps audio, running continuously around the clock. A secondary stream titled 70's on Shuffle presents a randomized mix drawn from the full decade's catalog. Beyond automated streaming, the station produces a live weekly broadcast hosted by Jim and J.J. Thomas, aired every Friday at 8 p.m. Central Time under the title The Class Reunion. This live program supplements the continuous music streams with a hosted, programmed element. The broader 70's Preservation Society project also includes archival content related to a prior radio program called 70's Saturday Night, historical write-ups through a segment called Week In Music, and curated links to other 1970s-related online resources. The station is operated out of Texas.
