A commercial news-talk radio station licensed to Sheridan, Arkansas, serving the Little Rock metropolitan area on 102.9 FM. Owned by Cumulus Media, it operates as the flagship station of the Arkansas Radio Network and has long been the dominant news-talk voice in the market. Studios are located on Wellington Hills Road in West Little Rock, with the transmitter tower situated on North Sardis Road in Mabelvale. The 102.9 frequency signed on April 13, 1987 as a Class A FM station in Sheridan. It passed through several formats and operators over the following decades, including an oldies format as KQLV "Q-102," a country format as KXIX "Kix 103," a soft adult contemporary format as KEZQ, and another soft AC iteration as KVLO. None of these music formats achieved significant ratings success against stronger competitors in the Little Rock market. The station ultimately acquired the KARN call letters and transitioned to its current news-talk format. Programming includes a locally produced morning show, afternoon drive programming, and evening talk, alongside nationally syndicated shows including those hosted by Sean Hannity and Mark Levin.
