Broadcasting at 103.9 MHz, this commercial radio station is licensed to serve southern New Mexico and operates under the ownership of Adams Radio Group through its licensee ARG of Las Cruces LLC. The station carries a country music format, positioning itself as a destination for both classic and contemporary country programming throughout the region. The call sign KGRT was assigned by the Federal Communications Commission on June 15, 1983, giving the station a history spanning more than four decades. Its studios are situated locally, while the transmitter is positioned off U.S. Highway 70 near the Rio Grande, providing coverage across the Mesilla Valley and surrounding communities. Programming is structured around a consistent weekday daypart schedule. Morning drive runs from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. with local host Ernesto Garcia, followed by Jackie Wilkinson through midday. Afternoon drive from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. features a host known as Mason, with the syndicated Nash Nights program filling the evening block from 7 p.m. to midnight. Overnight hours carry the Blair Garner Show. In addition to music programming, the station maintains a local news presence through the Mesilla Valley News service, covering community affairs ranging from public safety reports to local government activities.
